Why can't I see my survey results?
Let's troubleshoot! There are a couple of reasons you might not be able to see some or all of your survey results.
Here are some things to check:
1. Is your survey in Draft or Pending?
Results (excluding AI insights) only appear once the survey is active and has received a minimum number of responses.
2. Has the survey closed, or has the reporting period been met?
AI insights won’t generate until:
- The survey’s end date has been reached, or
- For ongoing surveys, the defined reporting period has been met.
3. Are filters applied?
- Applying demographic filters (such as department, locale, or age) affects the data you see.
- AI-generated insights (such as the Insights Dashboard and question and topic summaries) provide comprehensive insights based on all the survey data, rather than filtered views of it. So they do not show when filters are applied.
4. Were there enough responses or comments?
- If your survey received low participation, there may not be enough data to generate results or insights. Learn more about the minimum threshold for reporting
- Topic summaries in the Text Analysis Report won’t generate unless there are at least three valid comments. If topic summaries aren’t created, question summaries can’t be generated either.
5. Do you have the right permissions?
- You may not have access to view certain reports or results.
- If you believe you should have broader access, please contact the person who invited you to view the results.
6. Is AI enabled for reporting?
You must enable AI for reporting in your survey settings for them to appear in your reports.
