Randomise questions within a group
If you don't need to ask questions in a specific order, then you can randomise them.
Randomising questions reduces the risk of satisficing. Satisficing is when a participant might lose interest in answering the questions and select the same (or random) response for every question. If questions weren't randomised and satisficing occurred, the results of the last questions would be less valuable because the responses would not be genuine.
Randomising also helps minimise participants taking the survey together and influencing each other's responses.
To randomise a group of questions.
- Find the question group and select it to expand.
- Check the box Randomise questions.
- Select Save.
