My surveys

My surveys is where you create and manage your surveys.

There are three parts to this section:

  • search and filter
  • survey cards
  • survey folders.

Search and filter

If you've got a lot of surveys, you can use the search or filter function to quickly find what you're looking for.

You can filter surveys by:

  • folder
  • survey template
  • status.

Survey columns

Your surveys are displayed in a card format within a table. Each card displays information relating to the columns in the table:

  • Survey title: Name you've chosen for your survey.
  • Participation rate: Percentage of participants that completed the survey
  • Overall score: Average score across all Agree-Disagree questions in your survey.
  • Status: What stage your survey is at (Draft, Pending, Active or Closed).
  • Retest: Information on eligibility for a retest and the status of your retest survey.

To reveal the actions menu for a survey, select the three dots to the right of the survey card.

How the retest column works

Retesting is a key part of our Ask, Listen, Act, Measure framework for continuous improvement. It closes the loop, helping you track whether actions are having the intended impact or if adjustments are needed — allowing you to quickly course correct.

There are six possible messages you might see in the retest column:

  • Show retest/Hide retest: This message shows on the original survey only. When selected, it allows you to show or hide the retest survey nested under it.
  • Review & Publish: A retest survey has automatically been created for you by the system. It is in draft and waiting for you to review, schedule and publish it. When you select the button, it will take you to the survey's Overview page.
  • No retest yet: The original survey hasn't yet closed. A retest survey can only be generated once the original survey has closed.
  • Create retest: If your survey closed before 3 March 2025, you will need to select this text link to generate a retest survey.
  • N/A: The original survey type means a retest survey can't be automatically generated. You might also see this message if the original survey didn't gain enough responses to meet the minimum threshold. Learn more about surveys eligible for this feature.

Survey folders

You can also organise your surveys into folders.

What folders you have access to and the actions you can perform depend on the role you've been given.

If you're an Account Manager, you can:

  • create and remove folders
  • add and remove surveys from folders
  • archive surveys
  • rename folders

All other team members with AskYourTeam access can only view folders that contain surveys they've been assigned. Learn more about managing folders.
