Make bulk actions to Report Viewers
Bulk actions let you change several report viewers at once: grant more access, remove some access, or invite and enable them together.
Step 1: Select who you want to change
- Open your survey's permissions (Surveys > three dots > Permissions > Manage automated permissions or Manage manual permissions).
- Tick two or more people in the list.
- Select Bulk actions (top right). It becomes available once two or more are selected.
Step 2: Choose what to change
The next screen shows who you selected at the top. Under What's the change? pick one:
- Grant more access adds new permissions on top of what people already have.
- Remove some access takes away specific permissions people currently have.
- Invite and enable turns on access, silently or with an email invitation.
Grant or remove access
If you chose Grant more access or Remove some access, use the panel to set the change across three tabs:
- Demographics (whose responses they can see)
- Filters (what they can filter by)
- Reports (what they can see)
The Summary describes the change, for example "Removing 2 filters and 1 report from 3 People Leaders".
To remove access entirely, choose Remove some access, then turn on Remove access completely.
Granting or removing access changes what people are allowed to see, but it does not turn their access on. For anyone who already has access, the change takes effect straight away. For anyone who does not have access yet, the new permissions are saved but they still cannot see results until you enable them. To do that, select those people again and use Bulk actions > Invite and enable.
Tip: Use bulk actions when the same change applies to everyone you selected. To make different changes for different people, edit them individually by selecting their name.
Invite and enable
If you chose Invite and enable, pick one:
- Enable silently turns on access without emailing anyone. People see it next time they log in.
- Send an email invitation turns on access and emails everyone an invitation.
