How do I export reports?

To export reports:

  1. Select the Export button in the top right corner of the report section.

  2. Select the file type you want to export. Choose from Excel, PDF or PowerPoint.

  3. Select which reports you would like to include in your export. If you want to include comments, make sure you select the Text Analysis Report.

  4. Select Export. Your reports will automatically begin to download. Check the download file on your computer to open the export.

Can I export comments?

Yes, you can. If you want to include comments in your export, just make sure to include the Text Analysis Report. This report contains all your comment data.

For all surveys (excluding Leadership Effectiveness)

If you select the Excel or PDF export option, you can export all comments.

If you select the PowerPoint option, you can export starred comments only. This is to avoid creating a very large PowerPoint file with many pages (potentially 10s or 100s of pages) of comments.

For Leadership Effectiveness surveys

If you select the Excel or PDF export option, you can export all comments.

If you select the PowerPoint option, you can choose to export all comments and/or starred comments.

Do filters apply to report exports?

Yes, they do. If you have filters applied when you click Export, the filters will also be applied to your export file. A summary of these filters will be included in the export.

Which reports should I export and share with the wider team?

We recommend starting with the Questions Report. This is a useful report to share with the wider team as it shows the average score for each question in the survey.

To access the Questions report:

  1. Select the Questions tab.

  2. Select the Agree-Disagree sub-tab.

The questions are ranked from highest scoring to lowest scoring. High-scoring questions can identify areas to celebrate success and can be an easy way to communicate initially. Low-scoring questions can identify areas for potential improvement and areas that we would suggest taking action on.
