Manage feedback items

When you log in to Feedback Now, you will land on the Home screen. This shows your dashboard.

Your dashboard lists all the feedback your business has received. Feedback is listed in order of most recent. If no feedback has been received, your dashboard will be empty.

Each feedback item shows six data points on the dashboard.

  • Business: The name of the business the feedback is about.

  • ID: A unique number assigned to a feedback item.

  • Date received

  • Category: What topic the feedback is about.

  • Anonymous: Whether the worker supplied their name and contact details.

  • Status: What stage the feedback review is at (Open, Closed or In progress).

When a feedback item first arrives, it will show the Category as blank. You will need to assign it a category or categories from a set list inside the item. This will support reporting later on.

Review feedback and assign categories

To access and review a feedback item, click on the Business name.

Read the details of the feedback and choose which category or categories it belongs to. You can choose more than one category.

The feedback categories are:

  • Accommodation

  • Bullying, intimidation & harassment

  • Discrimination

  • Health & safety

  • Pay & benefits

  • Pollution

  • Unfair dismissal

  • Modern slavery

  • Working conditions

Check the box next to the category you want and then select Save.

Add a note

Keep track of important information about your feedback item and its progress. Good note-keeping means you don't have to rely on memory. It also means if someone new takes over the feedback item, they'll know exactly where you left off.

To add a note to your feedback item:

  1. Select the item on the dashboard to open it.

  2. Enter your note into the text field at the bottom.

  3. Select Save.

To can also edit your note in the same field. Just select Save to save your changes.

If you'd like to delete your note, delete the text in the field and select Save.

You can only have one note per feedback item.

Update the status

Each feedback item will have a status assigned to it.

There are three statuses:

  • Open: When a feedback item is received it's automatically given this status.

  • In progress: Use this status when you start to review the feedback item. This is particularly important if the feedback is a complaint or grievance.

  • Closed: Use this status when you've followed up with everyone involved and they're satisfied with the process and outcome.
