Can participants get a copy of their responses?
This depends on what settings you choose for your survey.
If you'd like participants to be able to get (export) a copy of their responses:
- Go to Surveys.
- Select the survey you would like users to export their responses from.
- Select Edit.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down to Allow participants to export their responses.
- Turn the toggle on.
If the toggle is turned on, participants will be able to email themselves a copy of their responses when they complete the survey and generate the Thank You screen.
This email contains a link to download a PDF. For the participants' privacy, the link will expire 7 days after being sent.
Can kiosk participants get a copy of their responses?
No, this is the one participant group that can't email themselves a copy of their responses. This is to protect their privacy in a public environment where many participants use the same machine.
Do anonymous participants remain anonymous if they enter their email address?
Yes. If anonymous participants provide their email address on the Thank You screen, their responses won't be linked back to them. Their identity will still be protected. Their email address is only used to send them a copy of their results.
