Report Viewer FAQs

A Report Viewer is someone who's been invited to view survey results. If you've received an invitation, that's you!

Whose results can I see?

Your AskYourTeam Account Manager sets your permissions. So they will decide which demographics (groups of people), filters, and reports you have access to.

To check whose results you can see:

  1. Log into AskYourTeam

  2. Select the survey you want to view results for.

  3. Now you're in the reporting suite! Select the information (i) icon next to the survey name towards the top of the page. This will open a tool tip that shows you which results, demographics, filters and reports you have access to.

What reports should I look at first?

If you're new to AskYourTeam, we recommend starting with one of these reports:

  • Questions Report: This report shows the average score for each question in your survey and helps you easily identify areas for improvement and opportunities to celebrate.

  • Text Analysis Report: This report helps you gather insights from written feedback. It shows in your reporting suite when your survey collects free-text comments.

Remember, what reports you can see depends on the question types in your survey and the permissions your AskYourTeam Account Manager has given you. It is possible you might not see either of those reports.

Do I need to use report filters?

Filters can help you explore how experiences vary between different groups of people.

For example, you can use filters to explore how results change by:

  • Department

  • Gender

  • Age

  • Ethnicity

Remember, what filters you can see depends on the permissions your AskYourTeam Account Manager has given you. It is possible you might not see all or any of the filters listed above.
