How to create a survey

Ready to create your survey? Great! To get started go to Surveys in the left-hand menu and select Create survey.

You'll be asked if you'd like to:

  • Use a template: Save time and choose from our range of ready-to-go survey templates and question sets.

  • Build your own: Start with a blank slate. Create custom questions or select questions from your library.

When you've made your choice, you'll be guided through the create survey flow. It's made up of 7 steps.

  1. Survey information: Enter your survey name, start and end dates, and review branding options.

  2. Settings: Turn features on and off depending on what type of survey you're running. For example, public or ongoing survey.

  3. Questions: Add, remove or review questions in your survey. 

  4. Demographics: Choose the demographic information you would like to capture and use as filter options for reporting.

  5. Participants: Add the participants you would like to take the survey.

  6. Communications: Enter personalised messages and reminders for your survey. 

  7. Overview & Publish: Review your survey and send a preview. If everything looks good – select Publish survey!
